Visiting the Kirk Douglas Theatre

Generous metered street parking is available on Washington, Culver, and Venice Blvds. Meters run until 8pm and are free on Sundays. 

Free three-hour covered parking at Culver City City Hall with validation, which can be processed in the Douglas lobby. Make sure to bring your parking ticket with you to the theatre. The parking rate is $1 for each 30 minutes thereafter. Enter on Duquesne Ave. 

Alternatively, you may use the parking structures on Watseka Ave or Cardiff Ave, between Venice Blvd and Culver Blvd, or in the Ince Blvd parking structure, with entrances on Washington Blvd. and Culver Blvd. There is also a public valet parking station on Culver Blvd, half a block from the rear of the theatre. 

Go Metro and save! Plan your trip to the Kirk Douglas Theatre at metro.net or call 323.GO.METRO or 323.466.3876. Roundtrip fare is $3.50 + $2 for a reusable TAP card, per person. Take the E Line to Culver City Station and transfer onto the Culver City Bus, Line 1 to Washington Blvd. and Hughes Avenue. The Kirk Douglas Theatre is located at 9820 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232.

Management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein. Ticket holders expressly assume all liability for risk and danger incidental to the ticketed event.

Season Ticket Members get exclusive access to exchange tickets online up to 24 hours before their showtime for free by visiting the My Account page in our website.  As a Season Subscriber, if you exchange to a lower priced ticket, you'll receive a credit that can be used for additional tickets to the same production only and that will expire at the conclusion of this production if not used. Tickets exchanged into an upgraded location or higher priced date/time may increase the price of the new ticket. 

We now offer same-day exchanges for a per-ticket fee up to three hours before showtime. Same-day exchanges are not available online and must be made over the phone at 213.972.4444 or in person at the box office.

Please refrain from wearing strong perfumes and cologne. Many people are allergic to heavy scents. 

To minimize disruption, patrons not seated when the performance begins will be asked to wait in the lobby until an appropriate seating break. Latecomers may also be given alternate seats until intermission.

Flash photography can be dangerous to performers and is very distracting to audiences. Photography and any other type of recording device are unlawful, unless authorized by Center Theatre Group. Your use of a ticket constitutes acknowledgment of willingness to appear in authorized photographs and video in public areas of The Music Center and the Kirk Douglas Theatre and releases Center Theatre Group, The Music Center, and all others from liability resulting from the use of such photographs.

Children under age six are not admitted, unless the production is advertised for younger audiences. Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket and be able to sit quietly through the performance. Babes in arms are not admitted. 

Thanks to a generous donation from the Center Theatre Group Affiliates, the Ahmanson Theatre has a limited number of booster seats available on a first come, first served basis.
