College and Career Fair for the Arts 2025

Registration required with slots available on a first-come, first-served basis while sign-ups last.

Students will have the opportunity to speak directly to working artists including actors, directors, designers, and stage managers for theatre in this casual, conversational format.

These sessions are available for students and their guardians to ask any questions they may have about the college application and admissions processes related to any field of study, not just the arts! These sessions are also available on a first-come, first-served basis while sign-ups last.

Connect with representatives from over 20 different colleges, universities, and arts organizations at their booths at the College and Resource Fair.

Career Pathways in Theatre Arts | 10:30-11:30am | open to all participants

But what does an artist’s career actually look like, and how did they get there? This panel will expose participants to different pathways in the arts by inviting various types of theatre artists to share about their career journey and experience in their profession.

Empowerment and Personal Advocacy | 11:40am-12:40pm | for students only 

How do I navigate setting goals and learning about myself in such a new environment? This hands-on workshop will increase young artists’ confidence in new spaces as they prepare to advocate for themselves and their values in college and in the workforce.

How to Support Your Artist | 11:40am-12:40pm | for parents, guardians, and educators only 

Unsure of the steps to support your aspiring artist as they begin their journey navigating what career to pursue? Whether they are interested in pursuing a creative career or not, join us for a workshop designed for parents and guardians that looks at how information and reflection can give your aspiring artist the tools they need to take the next step toward achieving their career goals.

How might my interests now point me in the direction of a career in the future? After hearing about different job pathways in the arts, stick around for our career mapping workshop where you can consider your individual skills and interests and see which types of careers they may lead you towards.

Degree Options | 1:45-2:45pm | open to all participants

But what’s really the difference between an AA, BFA, and BA? And how do I finance my degree once I decide? This session will outline the various degree options at both two and four year institutions, describing the experience while completing the degree and career options available following completion. It will also cover various scholarship and aid options.
